Medication Management
Medication management includes medication education, discussing side effects, dosage adjustment, medication prescribing and refills and blood work monitoring if needed.
Psychiatric Evaluation
Initial Evaluation: Psychiatric evaluation include screening and detailed review of your past mental health history and treatments (if any), review medical issues as this may impact treatment, and discuss your mental health concerns and goals for treatment. we treat a variety of conditions including mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, sleep, and psychotic disorders. Psychotropic medication will also be prescribed if indicated at this time.
Follow up and Individual Therapy
Follow Up appointment: During your follow up appointments we will discuss your response to any medications prescribed, side effects (if any), make medication changes or adjustments, order refills as needed and provide supportive therapy.
Individual Therapy - Talk therapy enables getting to the root of clients mental problems. Therapy involves supporting clients during the darkest moments while challenging your one’s thoughts and behaviors to find new meaning. Therapy leads to better coping skills, challenging one’s thoughts and importantly, clients hope for a better tomorrow.
About Us
Emily David, Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with years in health care. I have worked in several specialties, both medical and psychiatric, am passionate in mental health. My philosophy as a provider is to work with clients individually to achieve mental health stability. My goal is to help patients reach their optimal stability. I have extensive experience providing medication management using a holistic approach. During visits, I will listen carefully to your specific concerns and collaboratively develop a treatment. While all our clients have some needs that are similar, each client has different life encounters that may impede their mental health and independent living.
